- Well have the South African President in Simon’s Town on 5 September. It’s a great day for Simon’s Town as the President will visit the Navy for the first and last time. But it’s also a time for us to hang the flags out. We have such a lot to disagree about. Let’s have fun on this day while watching the activities in the streets and on our lovely blue bay. Thrish suggested you phone |Arne at 082 807 8073 to get some flags for the day.
All businesses please make an effort to show their support for the Navy & our President by bringing out the flags etc for the Review of the Fleet on Friday 5th Sept - full dress rehearsal will be on Thurs 4th.
Maria from Africa Trading feels strongly that the benches should be returned to Jubilee Square & that there should be free Disabled Parking on Jubilee Square.
Any comments? as I will bring this up at next STADCO Meeting.
Please add her to the mailing list: rbrandt@global.co.za
